On the grassy pastureland of Faz, there once lived two boys called Toban and Basoo. Basoo’s father was a wealthy sheep farmer. He wanted his son to remain at home and work on the farm with him. Basoo loved to eat and play all day long.

Toban’s father was a poor weaver. He wanted a better life for his son and so he decided to send him into the town to study.

Toban was very excited. He ran to tell his friend Basoo the good news, “My father is sending me away to study. He wants me to learn how to read, write, play the flute and learn the game of chess. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could come too?”

“What’s the good of studying?” Basoo asked, “My father doesn’t know how to do all these things and see how successful he is. He can do anything and eat anything he feels like. One day, I will be wealthy farmer too. I don’t need to study like you.”

So, saying goodbye to his father and friends, Toban went into the town alone. There he learnt to read, write, play the flute and the game of chess. As he was a clever and hardworking boy, it did not take him long to master all three.

With that as a background, Toban and Basoo were put to the test when a disaster struck their village one day ……

Would Toban be able to weave his MAGIC and put all his learning to good use – just as his father had hoped he would do?

How would Toban save his friend Basoo and the villages from the … Crazy King?
